About the position

Kelly Services is seeking a North America Talent Acquisition Early Career Specialist in the Midland, Michigan area. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about attracting and selecting diverse and engaged talents. The Early Career Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a best-in-class experience for both Hiring Managers and Candidates through exceptional Talent Acquisition expertise, consultation, and service delivery. The position focuses on managing the application to interview process for US Early Career programs, working closely with Functional Staffing Leaders and Early Career Recruiters. As a member of the North America Early Career team, the specialist will contribute to the overall regional early career strategy and support various Early Career initiatives. This includes matching necessary competencies to experience by utilizing both internal and external resources, such as sourcing campus candidates, reviewing and screening resumes, and supporting the interview process. The role also emphasizes the importance of using digital tools to enhance position exposure in the job market and demonstrates a strong commitment to Inclusion & Diversity Recruiting, providing necessary support for I&D Conferences. Additionally, the specialist will act as a process consultant to Functional Staffing Leaders during the talent selection process and assist with other ad-hoc Talent Acquisition tasks and initiatives as capacity allows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the application to interview process for US Early Career programs in partnership with Functional Staffing Leaders and Early Career Recruiters.
  • Contribute to the overall regional early career strategy and support other Early Career initiatives as a member of the NA Early Career team.
  • Match necessary competencies to experience using internal and external resources, including sourcing campus candidates and reviewing resumes.
  • Utilize digital tools to increase position exposure in the open job market.
  • Support Inclusion & Diversity Recruiting and assist with I&D Conferences.
  • Act as a process consultant to Functional Staffing Leaders in the talent selection process.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc Talent Acquisition tasks and initiatives as capacity allows.

Requirements

  • Prior working experience as a recruiter is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday and social media or other digital platforms such as Handshake/Yello is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork spirit and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for learning and ability to come up to speed quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and drive improvements.
  • Client-centric mindset and ability to operate effectively and proactively.
  • Comfortable leveraging a variety of technology platforms.
  • Ability to consult and provide recommendations based on client needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a recruitment agency or staffing environment.
  • Knowledge of early career recruitment strategies.
  • Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
