About the position

The Talent Acquisition Graduate Program at Amazon is a comprehensive 21-month rotation program designed for recent graduates who are eager to develop their skills in talent acquisition and recruiting. This program is part of Amazon's EMEA Stores Talent Acquisition Team and offers participants the opportunity to engage in various roles, including Candidate Partner, Business Partner, and Full Lifecycle Recruiter. Throughout the program, participants will receive hands-on learning experiences, mentorship, and the chance to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, preparing them for a successful career in recruitment. In the first phase of the program, as a Candidate Partner for six months, participants will collaborate with hiring teams to create effective sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of return on investment to manage customer and partner expectations effectively. Participants will also be responsible for building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management. Conducting in-depth interviews will be a key responsibility, where participants will demonstrate their ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences, aiming for high offer-to-interview ratios. The second phase involves serving as a Business Partner for another six months. In this capacity, participants will act as the primary liaison between the talent acquisition team and the operations team, facilitating regular communication and collaboration. Understanding the strategic priorities and challenges of both teams will be crucial for effective coordination. Participants will collect, analyze, and interpret recruitment and operations data to identify trends and areas for improvement, generating reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key performance metrics. In the final phase, participants will take on the role of a Full Lifecycle Recruiter for six months, managing the entire recruiting process from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer negotiations, and onboarding. This role emphasizes providing a high-quality candidate experience and leveraging various sourcing strategies to engage a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Participants will work closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements and team dynamics, providing strategic guidance on optimal candidate profiles and interview processes. They will also analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends and implement data-driven improvements. At the conclusion of the program, there will be an opportunity for participants to transition into a full-time position within the company, making this program an excellent stepping stone for a career in talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage various sourcing strategies to identify and engage a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements and team dynamics.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends and implement data-driven process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, Economics or a similar field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills with a focus on delivering business results.
  • Business Fluency (C1+) in English and German.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Czech or Slovak.
  • Previous working experience is not required for this role.
