About the position

Prime Healthcare is an award-winning health system headquartered in Ontario, California, operating 45 hospitals and over 300 outpatient locations across 14 states, providing more than 2.6 million patient visits annually. The organization is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to join its corporate team. This role is pivotal in managing the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions within the healthcare system. The Talent Acquisition Lead will develop and implement effective recruiting and selection strategies that align with the current and future workforce needs of the hospital and regional levels. In this position, the Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for various job openings, utilizing independent judgment to match candidates with job requirements. The role involves coordinating and tracking interviews with hiring managers and making decisions regarding candidate progression in the hiring process. Collaboration with hiring managers, facility human resource staff, and senior leadership is essential to ensure that recruiting practices meet organizational needs. The Talent Acquisition Lead will also explore new search mediums and assist the Regional Manager of Talent Acquisition with special projects as needed. Additionally, the role includes training, reporting, analytics, and workforce planning opportunities, advising the business on the right fit, and overseeing the sourcing, screening, and interview processes to acquire top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions within the healthcare system.
  • Develop and implement recruiting and selection strategies to address workforce needs.
  • Source and screen candidates for job openings, matching them with job requirements.
  • Coordinate and track interviews with hiring managers.
  • Make decisions on candidate progression in the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR staff to meet recruiting needs.
  • Identify and evaluate new search mediums for recruitment.
  • Assist the Regional Manager of Talent Acquisition with special projects.
  • Provide training, reporting, and analytics support.
  • Advise the business on the right fit for positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting executive level positions.
  • Minimum of 3 years acting as lead recruiter.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience recruiting passive candidates.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced sourcing and data mining techniques.
  • Experience in developing and negotiating job offers.
  • General knowledge of federal and California employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
