About the position

The Talent Acquisition and Management Director will lead, guide, and manage organization-wide efforts to ensure that talent acquisition and management programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic initiatives. This position will be responsible for the full life cycle of employee management from new hire skills collection to retention, promotion, and succession planning. The Director will also be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of recruitment strategies for the organization and to collaborate with the Marketing/Public Relations Department to develop employment branding for the organization and hiring top talent aligned with CalvertHealth mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will have a high-level understanding of HR practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other HR professionals and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage organization-wide talent acquisition and management programs.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for talent acquisition and management.
  • Oversee the full life cycle of employee management, including new hire skills collection, retention, promotion, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing/Public Relations Department to enhance employment branding.
  • Execute recruitment strategies aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Work collaboratively with HR professionals and executive leadership to ensure effective talent management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Management, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, or Leadership Development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience with HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS technology.
  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment and employment practices and laws.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
