About the position

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX location. This role is part of our Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence and will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition for the Americas region. The successful candidate will lead the strategy and execution for warehouse recruitment activities across more than 50 locations in the US and Canada, focusing on both professional level and fulfillment and delivery roles.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to create and implement hiring strategies for various positions across the US and Canada.
  • Manage and work alongside a team of 5-7 recruiters to support hiring managers, delegating and prioritizing workload among team members.
  • Collaborate with HRBP's, Talent Acquisition Specialists, and business managers to fulfill open positions.
  • Implement, monitor, and measure national talent management and development initiatives.
  • Participate in national HR management and Talent Acquisition meetings.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Management peers on a national and regional level.
  • Manage relationships with relevant vendors to ensure Kuehne+Nagel's needs are met.
  • Review current processes and procedures and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Determine and measure relevant KPIs and recruitment metrics for the team.
  • Generate and analyze reports and data to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Stay updated on US labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulation.
  • Frequent domestic travel by air or road; some international travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a people manager.
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment, preferably in freight forwarding or warehousing light manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team and prioritizing workloads.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset that challenges the status quo and pushes the team to do the same.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and analytical skills to produce hiring analysis reports.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours as required.
