About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Republic Services will lead the recruitment efforts for a diverse range of roles across the United States. This hybrid position involves sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring top talent while ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The manager will oversee a geographically dispersed team, promote best practices in recruitment, and collaborate with various stakeholders to meet staffing needs effectively. The role emphasizes building relationships, enhancing the employer brand, and leveraging technology to optimize recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to drive an efficient hiring process.
  • Promote a culture of creativity and accountability within the talent acquisition team.
  • Manage key business relationships and partner effectively with business leaders.
  • Inform and report to business leaders on recruitment initiatives and hiring metrics.
  • Strengthen the employer brand proposition to enhance candidate experience.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies with hiring managers.
  • Establish and develop networks through industry contacts and associations.
  • Leverage technology and best practices to optimize recruitment processes.
  • Collaborate with internal communications and marketing to create impactful recruiting material.
  • Manage the use of outside recruiters and external search firms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined work experience in Talent Acquisition or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sourcing and selection practices.
  • Prior leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on high performance.
  • Excellent project management skills for large-scale recruiting projects.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to solve complex problems using data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
