About the position

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager at Republic Services is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring top talent across various roles in the United States. This role emphasizes creating a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers while leading a geographically dispersed team. The TA Manager will collaborate with business leaders to ensure effective recruitment strategies and maintain high standards in the hiring process, focusing on inclusivity and alignment with the company's culture and values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to drive an efficient hiring process.
  • Promote a culture of creativity and accountability within the talent acquisition team.
  • Manage key business relationships and partner with business leaders to meet recruitment needs.
  • Inform and report on the progress of key recruitment initiatives and hiring metrics to business leaders.
  • Strengthen the employer brand proposition to enhance the candidate experience.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies with hiring managers regarding recruitment programs.
  • Establish and develop networks through industry contacts and other sources to maximize recruitment opportunities.
  • Leverage technology and best practices to optimize recruitment processes and team performance.
  • Collaborate with internal communications and marketing to create impactful recruiting materials.
  • Manage the use of outside recruiters and external search firms for identified positions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined work experience in Talent Acquisition, human resources, or related industry work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing best-in-class sourcing and selection practices.
  • Prior leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on leading a high performing team.
  • Excellent project management skills for large-scale recruiting projects.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to solve complex business problems using data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
