About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at The Lede Company is responsible for leading recruitment efforts to attract and place professionals in public relations, communications, and social impact roles. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in high-volume recruitment, particularly within agency settings, and emphasizes building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, source, and place public relations and communication professionals at all levels.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and define job requirements, ensuring a clear alignment with company and team goals.
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including cold outreach, social media, job boards, and industry-specific platforms, to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit to ensure alignment with the company's values and mission.
  • Maintain and leverage a database of candidates, ensuring timely communication and follow-up throughout the hiring process.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to continually improve the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
  • Stay current with industry trends and market insights to inform recruitment strategies and enhance employer branding.
  • Build and nurture relationships with external partners, including universities, industry associations, and recruitment agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on public relations and communications roles.
  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in agency settings is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve recruitment processes and metrics.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
