About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at PAE Consulting Engineers plays a crucial role in shaping the recruitment strategy and overseeing the entire hiring process. This position is responsible for developing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the A/E industry, managing daily recruiting activities, and enhancing the PAE brand through various online platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a systematic method for ongoing recruitment of top talent in the A/E industry.
  • Develop strategies for engaging and cultivating passive candidates.
  • Manage relationships with employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating fees.
  • Attract, source, and recruit job candidates, conducting initial screenings and referring qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Manage the annual recruiting budget and analyze hiring trends and metrics.
  • Partner with Department Heads to develop specific recruiting plans.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including job postings and applicant rejection letters.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with college career centers and oversee campus recruitment campaigns.
  • Create and distribute a hiring manager toolkit and facilitate training for hiring managers.
  • Lead the referral program to encourage employee engagement in talent acquisition.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through continuous learning and training.
  • Collaborate with PAE's Tactical Team to conduct workforce planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10-15 years of HR or recruiting experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Paycom or equivalent Applicant Tracking System.
  • Proficiency in online recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
  • Expertise in recruiting and employee onboarding strategies.
  • Experience in the AEC industry is strongly preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
