About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager (Non-Patient Care) at the University of Michigan is responsible for leading and managing the Talent Acquisition team, developing innovative recruiting strategies, and overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process. This role aims to attract and retain top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with labor laws. The manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and represent Michigan Medicine at various recruitment events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and internal policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication and a seamless recruitment process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the Talent Acquisition process and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition.
  • Minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
