About the position

As the Talent Acquisition Manager for North America, you will be at the forefront of our talent acquisition and employer branding initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of our talent initiatives, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent in a competitive marketplace. You will collaborate closely with the Regional HR Director and other key stakeholders to develop and implement medium- and long-term talent strategies that align with our business objectives and respond to US labor market trends. Your efforts will not only enhance our recruitment processes but also promote our company as an employer of choice through various channels, including in-person events and digital media. In this position, you will lead senior-level recruitment efforts, ensuring a proactive approach to identifying and selecting top talent. You will also provide training and coaching to managers and HR peers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in recruitment practices. Your responsibilities will extend to managing early career programs, planning campus recruitment activities, and overseeing talent mobility programs to facilitate internal career progression. You will be responsible for analyzing recruitment metrics and attrition data to identify trends and areas for improvement, regularly reporting these insights to senior leadership. Additionally, you will manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring compliance and high-quality service. This role currently has one direct report, an HR Recruiter, and offers the opportunity to influence the overall talent strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Regional HR Director to develop and implement talent strategies.
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice through various channels.
  • Lead senior-level recruitment across the region.
  • Provide training and coaching to managers and HR peers.
  • Support annual career pathway mapping and talent review processes.
  • Manage early career apprentice and graduate programs.
  • Plan and execute campus recruitment activities.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives in recruitment.
  • Own key performance indicators related to talent attraction and retention.
  • Work with ERG and communication teams to promote the organization externally.
  • Manage talent mobility programs for internal career progression.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and attrition data for insights.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and conduct audits.
  • Collaborate with the Global Head of Talent & HR Systems on best practices.
  • Lead HR projects related to talent as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior talent acquisition or HR leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employer branding.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
