About the position

In this role, you will lead a team of full life cycle Recruiters across various business lines and deliver best-in-class talent for critical business needs. In partnership with Talent Acquisition leadership and Workforce Planning, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for evaluating key performance indicators and executing Talent Acquisition strategies for the district. The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage full life cycle recruiting as well as oversee the recruiting process, from source to hire. This position acts as a trusted advisor and serves as a subject matter expert for Recruiters, HR Coordinators, and Hiring Managers by seeking to understand the talent needs and providing consultation on process and market insights. Continuous improvement of the recruitment process to meet the growing needs of the organization is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational execution skills with a high degree of attention to detail and process are a must. Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, with the ability to clearly explain complex issues to a range of audiences, are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and think creatively is crucial. A team player with strong leadership qualities is essential. Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment, as well as experience being tech-savvy using recruiting tools and techniques, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily recruitment for HR Coordinators and Recruiters
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion
  • Supervise the recruiting process
  • Ensure effective and compliant recruitment and onboarding practices by supervising and coaching HR Coordinators and Recruiters
  • Guide the team through the best sourcing channels to reach candidates from entry level to tenured professionals
  • Maintain and create recruiting documents and procedures in partnership with peers
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership to create and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their workforce needs and create targeted job postings
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers throughout the organization
  • Partner with Workforce Development to explore all sourcing channels
  • Utilize applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools to streamline the hiring process
  • Track and report recruiting metrics
  • Coach recruiters and hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Stay current on hiring trends and competitor information
  • Promote diversity and inclusion efforts during the recruiting process
  • Assist with issue resolution and promote service expectations
  • Ensure strong collaboration between Hiring managers and HR team
  • Attend conferences to represent the corporation and source top talent
  • Participate on Talent Acquisition projects and/or broader organizational initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related discipline
  • 5 years of progressive Talent Acquisition work experience in healthcare
  • Prior experience working with multiple stakeholders cross-functionally
