About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at PAE Consulting Engineers plays a crucial role in shaping the recruitment strategy and overseeing the entire hiring process. This position is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the A/E industry, while managing daily recruiting activities and fostering a culture of internal referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a systematic method for the ongoing recruitment of top talent in the A/E industry.
  • Develop strategies for engaging and cultivating passive candidates who are not currently seeking new employment opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment-related fees.
  • Attract, source, and recruit job candidates, conduct initial screenings, and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers for further interviews.
  • Manage the annual recruiting budget.
  • Research, analyze, prepare, and present on hiring trends and metrics.
  • Partner with Department Heads to develop specific recruiting plans.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process by inputting resumes into the database, posting job ads, overseeing job posting websites, and handling applicant rejection letters.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with college career centers, faculties, and student organizations; oversee career fair schedule and campus recruitment campaigns.
  • Create and distribute a hiring manager toolkit and facilitate training to equip hiring managers with resources for a successful recruiting process.
  • Lead the referral program to encourage employee engagement in talent acquisition, fostering a culture of internal referrals.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through continuous learning and training, relevant webinars or workshops, or other means.
  • Collaborate with PAE's Tactical Team to conduct workforce planning.
  • Enhance the PAE brand through online platforms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10-15 years of HR or recruiting assistance in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Paycom or equivalent Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
  • Proficiency in online Recruiting Tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc., is preferred.
  • Expert in recruiting and employee onboarding strategies required; experience in compensation and talent management a plus.
  • Experience in the AEC industry strongly preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR & Recruiting Software-Programs.
  • Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
  • Familiarity with current federal and state laws.
  • Adaptability, dependability, and ability to demonstrate accuracy and quality control.
