About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager for the Southern Region at McCarthy Building Co. is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all talent acquisition efforts within a $1B+ operational area. This position involves collaborating with executive leaders and management teams to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies, ensuring alignment with HR goals, and enhancing the overall candidate experience. The role requires a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting across various offices and job sites, making a significant impact on the organization's growth and talent initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with executive leaders on talent acquisition strategies and projected needs.
  • Source, recruit, and build networks of qualified candidates for various levels.
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess technical and cultural fit.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop recruiting plans.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align talent acquisition with HR strategy.
  • Build relationships with senior and mid-level management to assess priorities.
  • Track and communicate recruiting data accurately and methodically.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Recruiter/HR Professional in Construction, Engineering, or related industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in sourcing and hiring mid-level and executive candidates.
  • Experience managing college relations recruiting programs is a plus.
  • Experience in a Fortune 1000 business environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of current HR issues, trends, and best practices.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships.
  • Proven ability to implement new processes effectively.
