About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager [Special Projects] at KIPP Philadelphia Schools is responsible for enhancing outreach and recruitment operations for the schools. This role involves event planning, partnership development, and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract quality teachers and staff. The position supports the development of university partnerships and aims to improve the teacher pipeline, ultimately impacting student outcomes positively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with external impact teams to develop and execute an outreach strategy that builds brand awareness and drives application volume.
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns across various platforms including social media and traditional advertising venues.
  • Track and analyze data linked to outreach strategies, refining approaches based on findings.
  • Research and represent the organization at local and national career fairs and hiring events.
  • Design and lead internal and external recruitment events to increase applicant volume.
  • Connect with student teacher programs and university partnerships to enhance teacher engagement.
  • Lead the recruitment implementation of campus ambassador programs and internal employee ambassador programs.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with educational institutions and community partners to build a teacher pipeline.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and programming, making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide flexible support to recruiters during peak hiring seasons, including sourcing candidates and conducting reference checks.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in recruitment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines seamlessly.
  • Effective communication skills for various stakeholders.

  • Personable and approachable with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Non-profit and/or education-related experience preferred.
