About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and internal placement functions within the company. This role involves managing the recruitment team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and filling job requisitions with qualified candidates in a timely manner to meet business objectives. The manager will also develop sourcing strategies, maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and monitor recruitment costs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and administer the company's recruitment/placement process across the domestic US organization.
  • Ensure all recruitment/placement activities adhere to company policies and are SOX compliant.
  • Develop sourcing channels and selection guidelines for optimum recruitment of qualified candidates.
  • Ensure all pre-hire requirements are met before extending offers of employment.
  • Ensure all offers of employment are approved and adhere to the company's approved offer template.
  • Stay current with industry best practices in recruitment and partner with line management to implement them.
  • Build quality relationships with internal customers and external recruitment agencies.
  • Monitor, report, and work to reduce recruitment process costs.
  • Set the social media communication strategy for job profiles and functions.
  • Oversee the development of interview guides and selection methodology for all positions.
  • Participate in job interviews and the selection process for managerial and key positions.
  • Responsible for new hire orientation and effective onboarding.
  • Monitor labor legislation and implement required changes for compliance.
  • Hire, manage, train, and develop the HR Recruitment team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for managers regarding recruitment activities.
  • Design and deliver training on recruitment, interviewing, and selection for line managers.
  • Conduct termination/exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
  • Responsible for developing the company's Affirmative Action and related plans.
  • Generate monthly HR metrics on headcount, open positions, time to hire, turnover, and other key metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional level Human Resources experience in a corporate and/or manufacturing operations environment.
  • 1-2 years' experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager in a corporate environment with at least 500 employees.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional Human Resources Certification.
