About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization. This role manages the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a seamless candidate experience from staffing needs identification to onboarding new hires.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Work closely with department managers to identify staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting methods and strategies based on role requirements and organizational needs.
  • Oversee job posting and advertisement processes to attract a diverse candidate pool.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates ensuring alignment with job requirements and culture.
  • Schedule and prepare interview questions and lead interviews with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers during the offer process, recommending salary ranges and start dates.
  • Collect and analyze recruitment data to maintain statistics on practices such as time-to-fill positions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in recruitment processes.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the talent acquisition team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership on talent acquisition strategies.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
  • Lead the implementation of recruitment systems to enhance the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
  • 5+ years' experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • 5+ years' experience supervising and managing a team.
  • Recruitment experience across multiple states with knowledge of state-specific employment laws.

Nice-to-haves

  • Human Resources certification (ex: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRMSCP).
  • Experience recruiting for a fast-paced EPC firm in the power delivery industry.
  • Experience with the implementation of ATS systems.
