About the position

Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and oversee a team of twelve recruiters within our dynamic health system, headquartered at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. This role is pivotal in managing high-volume recruitment efforts to meet the staffing demands across various departments and hospitals within our growing health system. The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a key role in driving the talent acquisition strategy, ensuring that we attract and hire the best talent to support the high standards of care that our organization provides. In this position, the manager will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR, and senior leadership at each hospital to ensure that the talent acquisition practices align with the organization's needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities to effectively manage and inspire their team. Additionally, the manager will need to demonstrate skills in sourcing, negotiating salaries, interviewing, and have a robust knowledge of clinical functions. This opportunity allows for a hybrid work schedule, requiring a minimum of three days in the office each week. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a team of twelve recruiters within the health system.
  • Manage high-volume recruitment efforts to meet staffing demands across various departments and hospitals.
  • Drive talent acquisition strategy to attract and hire top talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, HR, and senior leadership to align recruitment practices with organizational needs.
  • Inspire and manage the recruitment team to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to close candidates effectively.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Analyze recruitment data and prepare reports to track performance and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience required.
  • 1-3 years of recruitment experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and candidate closing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, results-focused, and a high achiever.
  • Experience with ATS systems required.
  • Understanding and familiarity with recruitment budgets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in analyzing data and preparing reports.
