About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Republic Services is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring top talent across various roles in the United States. Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to drive an efficient hiring process.
  • Identify and develop proactive talent identification strategies and create strategic hiring plans focused on reaching diverse talent.
  • Promote a culture of creativity and accountability within the talent acquisition team.
  • Manage key business relationships and partner effectively with business leaders to meet recruitment needs.
  • Inform and report to business leaders on recruitment initiatives and hiring metrics.
  • Strengthen the employer brand proposition to enhance the candidate experience.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies with hiring managers regarding recruitment programs.
  • Establish and develop networks through industry contacts and other sources to maximize recruitment opportunities.
  • Leverage technology and best practices to optimize recruitment processes and team performance.
  • Collaborate with internal communications and marketing to create impactful recruiting materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined work experience in Talent Acquisition or human resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sourcing and selection practices.
  • Prior leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on leading a high-performing team.
  • Excellent project management skills for large-scale recruiting projects.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to solve complex business problems using data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data analysis and modeling.
  • Familiarity with industry contacts and university relations for recruitment.
