About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Panasonic Corporation of North America is responsible for leading and developing a strategic talent acquisition team to support the company's emerging business in Kansas City. This role focuses on attracting top talent efficiently and cost-effectively while promoting best hiring practices and enhancing the candidate experience. The manager will collaborate with leadership to implement hiring strategies, manage the recruitment process, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Talent Acquisition team in developing and executing the company's sourcing strategy.
  • Develop tools and processes to identify and acquire talent to meet current and future business needs.
  • Advise and consult with key leaders to align business objectives with talent management strategies.
  • Manage and refine a Candidate Experience Strategy to improve the application process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Oversee the job requisition process, job postings, and applicant flow.
  • Implement and maintain metrics to measure the success of talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of consistent recruiting and hiring practices while fostering strong relationships with candidates.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team to meet hiring benchmarks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven work experience as a hands-on leader or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field with 5+ years of HR experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing lifecycle recruiting processes.
  • Record of successfully hiring top talent in a rapidly growing start-up environment.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of US labor and immigration laws and best practices.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
