DHL is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team at the Cincinnati Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky. This position is pivotal in demonstrating a strong network and building effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent to our organization. The Talent Acquisition Manager will apply their leadership capabilities to develop strategic partnerships both internally and externally, ensuring that we leverage the latest technology and current recruiting trends while maintaining compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and DHL's policies. This role will partner with internal clients and HR colleagues to create best-in-class talent identification strategies that will enable DHL Express to attract, land, and retain top professional-level talent. In this role, you will be responsible for building and delivering excellence in each stage of the talent acquisition process, which includes sourcing, employer branding, candidate engagement, screening, selection, and hiring. As a subject matter expert in our Talent Acquisition applicant tracking system (Avature), you will create and implement recruiting strategies and processes that meet the talent acquisition needs of assigned business divisions. You will screen resumes and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and cultural fit, serving as the chief point of contact for successful candidates throughout the screening process. Additionally, you will manage the applicant tracking flow, maintain records, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws. You will keep abreast of the latest developments in sourcing standard processes and tools, recommending new strategies with meaningful measurements. Researching talent acquisition trends will be essential to improve current processes, including benchmarking best practices in the talent acquisition arena. You will identify and evaluate trends in recruiting, including local and economic conditions, to develop innovative strategic plans that respond quickly to these trends. Your role will also involve analyzing the company's hiring and talent needs to anticipate future hiring requirements and creating comprehensive targeted sourcing strategies for qualified candidates. Fostering relationships with key candidates and driving the final interview process to completion will be crucial. You will represent the organization at job fairs and recruiting events, partnering with recruiters to provide support for candidates and leveraging resources for effective candidate searches. Additionally, you will select and manage relationships with top executive search professionals to achieve results in executive hiring. Cross-functional coordination will be a key aspect of your role, as you will work with hiring managers to anticipate needs and fill positions while applying a strategic thinking approach based on data and forecasts. You will also partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to develop strategies and initiatives that improve talent retention, facilitating full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and pre-employment assessments. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in the talent acquisition field, including a minimum of 5 years in a head-hunting agency. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and project management and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and an ATS is essential, along with previous experience recruiting for management-level positions and operations roles in union environments. This is a 100% office-based position, and candidates may need to work in an operations environment across multiple shifts depending on project tasks.
