About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a crucial role in the Engineering team of a high-frequency trading and technology firm. This position focuses on enhancing the recruiting process by collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders, building relationships with candidates, and contributing to global HR initiatives. The role requires a strong understanding of technical recruiting and the ability to stay informed about industry trends to attract top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with hiring managers, fellow recruiters, and other stakeholders to cultivate an understanding of the firm's needs and to make recommendations regarding the recruiting process.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects and candidates who could be matches for future openings.
  • Focusing on talent acquisition for US-based roles while interacting with counterparts and colleagues in other regions on globally-coordinated efforts and initiatives.
  • Contributing to various global HR initiatives, including learning and development, career mapping, retention, and more.
  • Staying abreast of industry news and market intelligence to ensure the firm maintains a competitive advantage in identifying and meaningfully engaging top candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-6 years of progressive experience in a technical recruiting role, either in-house or at an agency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
