About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) is responsible for innovating and driving recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent. This role involves managing the end-to-end talent acquisition function, developing an internal internship program, and ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to recruitment practices. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to build relationships, and a commitment to continuous improvement in recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and own the end-to-end talent acquisition function, executing effective local and regional sourcing strategies.
  • Continuously innovate recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Engage with community leaders and HR professionals to drive strategic recruiting initiatives.
  • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are centered as core values in recruiting practices.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate cost-effective recruiting methods and monitor metrics to measure results.
  • Mentor and coach hiring managers in interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Manage contracts and placement orders for temporary agency personnel.
  • Design and lead the development of an internal internship program.
  • Ensure a valuable learning experience for interns and support their professional development.
  • Lead HR and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in recruiting and retention strategies, including full-cycle recruitment.
  • Proven background in developing innovative recruiting strategies focused on increasing diversity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of laws impacting hiring and selection processes.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
