About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Mission Federal Credit Union is responsible for overseeing the entire talent acquisition function, ensuring a positive candidate experience while managing a high volume of recruitment activities. This role involves collaborating with business units to develop effective talent acquisition strategies, utilizing metrics to communicate progress to stakeholders, and leading a team of recruitment professionals. The position also emphasizes the importance of compliance with employment laws and the continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and perform all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to hiring.
  • Partner with business units to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies.
  • Communicate recruiting activity and status to stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and recruitment strategies.
  • Leverage technology to streamline candidate qualification processes.
  • Manage the talent acquisition budget and make spending recommendations.
  • Provide training and coaching to business leaders and recruitment teams.
  • Coordinate with HCM Analyst on compensation evaluation for new or changing positions.
  • Provide recommendations on compensation strategies based on market insights and candidate feedback.
  • Oversee and manage the work of direct reports, including performance monitoring and coaching.
  • Encourage the ongoing development of the Talent Acquisition team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive talent acquisition experience required.
  • Experience leading a recruitment team and strong candidate sourcing in the service industry required.
  • Experience sourcing candidates in financial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal and California state employment regulations required.
  • Excellent sourcing skills with platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and ATS mining required.
  • Proven capability in influencing and communicating effectively with senior leadership required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet required.
  • Knowledge of Dayforce HCM ATS software preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional in HR (PHR or SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Talent Acquisition certificate preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for a mid-sized company preferred.
