About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources functions, particularly focusing on recruitment, staffing, and employee engagement. This role requires providing technical expertise, managing departmental budgets, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. The position also involves developing strategic staffing plans and facilitating professional development programs for staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources functions.
• Recruit, vet, hire, and manage highly qualified staff, including school-based staff and certified teachers.
• Develop and supervise the implementation of strategic staffing plans to meet organizational needs.
• Coordinate recruitment efforts by planning job fairs and participating in recruitment events.
• Ensure applicant eligibility through certification verification and background checks.
• Facilitate professional development programs for staff and provide technical expertise on HR policies.
• Maintain Human Resources databases and process employee records accurately.
• Advise on Human Resources policies and assist in policy training.
• Lead interview panels for administrator positions.
• Oversee placement processes, including transfers and summer school staffing.
• Manage employee engagement and conduct exit interviews.
• Oversee departmental budgets.

Requirements

• Master's degree in human resources management or educational field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of Human Resource Management and/or school-based administrative experience.
• Experience in external recruiting for at least three years.
