About the position

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager who will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring healthcare professionals to meet the staffing needs of our growing organization. This role is critical in ensuring that we have a skilled and qualified workforce to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the medical and/or healthcare industries, a keen eye for reviewing resumes, and experience conducting interviews for multiple locations across Texas. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to identify and attract top talent. The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop a recruitment strategy utilizing various sourcing techniques such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to attract healthcare professional staff. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing resumes through our internal ATS program, conducting initial screenings, and assessing candidates' qualifications to ensure alignment with job requirements. The manager will also create and manage job requisitions, develop industry-specific recruiting partnerships, and conduct interviews using best-in-class tools for evaluating candidates' suitability for specific positions. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Manager will coordinate and schedule interviews, manage communication between candidates and hiring managers, and ensure compliance with existing laws during the interview process. A positive candidate experience is paramount, and the manager will provide timely feedback and address candidate inquiries. Staying updated with healthcare regulations and industry trends is essential to ensure compliance in recruitment practices. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities, collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, and managing the onboarding process for new employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a recruitment strategy utilizing various sourcing techniques such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Review and analyze resumes using the internal ATS program through Paylocity, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications.
  • Manage and create all job requisitions and post on internal and external sites.
  • Develop industry-specific recruiting partnerships through career fairs, employment agencies, and other sources.
  • Create and update job descriptions by collaborating with hiring managers.
  • Conduct interviews using best-in-class tools for evaluating candidates' suitability for specific positions.
  • Assess candidates' technical competencies, cultural fit, and motivation to work in the healthcare industry.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage communication and feedback loops between candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure compliance with existing laws when interviewing candidates and implement training when necessary.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and addressing inquiries.
  • Stay updated with relevant healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and industry trends.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards related to recruitment and hiring.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, recruitment activities, and hiring metrics using ATS and other tools.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR colleagues to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Process all pre-employment screening such as backgrounds and references.
  • Complete all new hire paperwork with candidates who onboard with the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a robust onboarding and orientation process for new employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detailed and organized.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software, ATS platforms (Paylocity), and other HR tools.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with healthcare regulations and compliance in recruitment practices.
  • Familiarity with various recruitment software and tools beyond Paylocity.
