About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at AIT Worldwide Logistics is responsible for developing and managing talent acquisition strategies that align with the company's goals. This role involves overseeing the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent while collaborating with department heads to forecast staffing needs and enhance the employer brand. The position is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the Itasca, IL headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals.
  • Develop and promote the company's employer brand through recruitment marketing efforts and campaigns.
  • Design innovative and effective talent acquisition strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Lead candidate screening and interview processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee relationships with external recruitment agencies and job board providers.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
  • Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.
  • Identify and utilize various sourcing channels to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Implement strategies to promote diverse hiring and inclusion in recruitment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience.
  • 2+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and technologies, including ATS and HR software.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing.
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR)-AIRS certification.
