About the position

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our talent acquisition efforts for our Services Business. This role is pivotal in developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies aimed at attracting top talent while improving and overseeing the recruitment processes from end to end. The successful candidate will ensure a seamless candidate experience and will need to possess a deep understanding of talent market trends in the USA. Strong leadership capabilities, project management skills, and a proactive approach to hiring the best talent for Bombardier are essential for this position. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that align with the company's business objectives. This includes analyzing market trends and workforce data to anticipate talent needs and stay ahead of the competition. The manager will collaborate with senior leadership to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with organizational goals. Additionally, the role involves managing and mentoring a team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. The Talent Acquisition Manager will continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes by implementing best practices and innovative recruitment technology to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. They will oversee the end-to-end recruiting processes from sourcing to hire, maintaining a candidate-centric approach while cultivating strong working relationships with business leaders. Regular communication with stakeholders, including client groups and HR, will be necessary to provide updates on search progress and market insights. Furthermore, the manager will actively participate in networking efforts with industry organizations and potential candidate sourcing contacts to build recruiting relationships and establish partnerships with relevant schools, associations, and boards to strengthen Bombardier's Employment Brand and build local talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and workforce data to anticipate talent needs and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with organization goals.
  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team; set and monitor team goals, KPI and performance metrics.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruiting processes from sourcing to hire, with a candidate-centric approach.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders providing information on progress of searches and market insights.
  • Actively participate in networking efforts with industry organizations and other potential candidate sourcing contacts.
  • Establish partnerships with relevant schools, associations and boards to strengthen our Employment Brand and build our talent pipelines locally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience in human resources including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and influencing best practices across business segments.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, collaborative, and open to direction.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and think strategically.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to be both strategic and tactical.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills for communicating with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
