About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and leading the talent acquisition strategy at KFC, ensuring the recruitment team effectively attracts top-tier talent. This role involves creating recruitment plans, managing metrics, collaborating with department heads, and enhancing the hiring process. The manager acts as a player-coach, focusing on both tactical and strategic recruiting elements, from sourcing to onboarding, while promoting employment branding and innovative recruiting approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Develop recruitment strategies that align with KFC's goals and objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the talent acquisition team to ensure effective execution of recruiting processes.
  • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to identify talent needs and create hiring plans.
  • Oversee sourcing efforts and develop talent pipelines using innovative techniques.
  • Ensure an efficient and positive interview and selection process.
  • Maintain and optimize the use of ATS and other recruitment tools.
  • Monitor and report on key talent acquisition metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain the company's employer brand.
  • Promote diversity in recruitment practices to reach underrepresented groups.
  • Manage the recruitment budget and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building successful talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and recruitment compliance.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
