About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at St. Joseph Medical Center is responsible for leading a team of twelve recruiters to manage high-volume recruitment efforts across various departments and hospitals within the Prime Healthcare system. This role focuses on developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent, ensuring alignment with the organization's high standards of care. The manager will collaborate with hiring managers, HR, and senior leadership to meet staffing demands and will work in a hybrid environment with a minimum of three days in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a team of twelve recruiters in high-volume recruitment efforts.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, HR, and senior leadership to meet staffing needs.
  • Manage recruitment processes across various departments and hospitals.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to inspire and manage the recruitment team.
  • Negotiate salaries and close candidates effectively.
  • Analyze recruitment data and prepare reports for management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience required.
  • 1-3 years of recruitment experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and candidate closing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage time effectively.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, and results-focused.
  • Experience with ATS systems required.
  • Understanding of recruitment budgets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in analyzing data and preparing reports.
