About the position

The Pfister Hotel is searching for an ambitious, innovative, and flexible human resources professional who will make memorable connections with candidates through meaningful experiences. This role will oversee Talent Acquisition for Mason Street Grill and Wisconsin Hospitality & Linen Services. The Talent Acquisition Manager is instrumental in ensuring our hotel and restaurants are consistently staffed with extraordinary hospitality professionals. This position is designed to be knowledgeable, accountable, and manage all processes and people involved with hourly hospitality placement. Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years, celebrated for its grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years, maintaining this prestigious designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976. In this role, you will source and select talent for hospitality positions in the hotels within the greater Milwaukee area, while reducing overall time to fill. You will pre-screen candidates and act as the contact person for all viable hospitality candidates, setting up interviews for hiring managers with qualified candidates. Additionally, you will post and promote active hospitality positions on social media, experimenting with new methods of advertisement and promotion. Seeking out and identifying new sources of talent will be crucial, as will effectively managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will create awareness of The Pfister Hotel and other business units as the premier hospitality employer brand within Milwaukee, tracking and achieving hires by source, monitoring which are "key sources" and eliminating those that prove to be less successful.

Responsibilities

  • Source and select talent for hospitality positions in the hotels within the greater Milwaukee area, while reducing overall time to fill.

Requirements

  • Four year college degree in related field.
  • Prior experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, or Customer Service fields.
  • Prior experience working with social media.
  • Ability to develop relationships and establish trust and credibility.
  • Outgoing, professional and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently with high level of confidence.
  • High degree of organization and self-motivation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel locally to attend job fairs and community events.
  • Computer, applicant tracking system (Taleo) and candidate relationship management tools experience preferred.
