About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Acousti Engineering Company of Florida will focus on program management to design and build the framework for talent acquisition processes. This role is critical in developing and implementing strategies to ensure consistency across recruitment practices, fostering long-term growth in alignment with company objectives. Initially, the position will not have direct reports but will be integral in establishing the talent acquisition structure for future expansion, overseeing recruitment operations, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle to secure top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across recruitment practices.
  • Create and manage long-term growth plans for talent acquisition, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
  • Lead the development of interview panels, recruitment strategies, and applicant evaluation processes.
  • Design and optimize recruitment programs aimed at building a sustainable pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning employment practices.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting, sourcing, and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Utilize Boolean search, data mining, and vocational interaction techniques to identify and source top talent.
  • Proactively engage in social media recruitment and sourcing through platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and other ATS systems.
  • Establish relationships with local schools, universities, and vocational institutions to build early-stage recruitment pipelines.
  • Drive diversity hiring initiatives.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and craft recruitment strategies that align with department goals.
  • Provide recruitment training and resources for hiring managers, ensuring consistency and best practices in candidate selection.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time to hire, cost per hire, quality of hire) and KPIs to track success and improve sourcing strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on recruitment activities and progress against hiring goals.
  • Manage the job posting process across various platforms, ensuring job descriptions are clear, engaging, and compliant.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, maintaining communication and providing timely feedback.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, ideally in a smaller-scale, hands-on environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates through Boolean search, data mining, and vocational interaction.
  • Strong organizational and process-building skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate challenges in a developing structure.
  • Courage and humility to challenge ideas while teaching and guiding the business through best practices in recruitment.
  • Desire for long-term growth in the role, with an openness to learn and contribute to the overall talent acquisition strategy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in construction or bilingual environments is a plus.
