About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at DaVita is responsible for overseeing the Welcome Wagon new hire process, ensuring compliance with various policies and procedures, and managing the team assigned to this function. This role involves close collaboration with other managers to maintain compliance with governmental reporting requirements and to enhance the onboarding experience for new hires.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and maintains the Welcome Wagon new hire process.
  • Tracks problems with the current process and develops solutions.
  • Maintains data regarding compliance with DaVita's new hire policies and provides progress reports.
  • Guides the expansion of the Welcome Wagon processes to benefit the organization.
  • Acts as the immediate supervisor for all teammates assigned to the Welcome Wagon team.
  • Ensures teammates are working efficiently with available resources.
  • Provides feedback to higher management regarding resource needs.
  • Coaches and mentors teammates on the Welcome Wagon team.
  • Familiarizes with all processes used in the onboarding process and provides support as needed.
  • Assists in developing improvements to the new hire processes for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures the onboarding process runs efficiently for a positive new teammate experience.
  • Works to improve guidance for candidates to minimize errors in data submission.
  • Coordinates with outside vendors like HireRight and eScreen as needed.
  • Improves enforcement of compliance with company hiring policies.
  • Provides updates to the Teammate and Labor Relations Manager as needed.
  • Reports on problems with the process and necessary changes.
  • Provides reports on new hire onboarding success and average processing time.
  • Tracks compliance and enforcement issues and develops maintenance procedures.
  • Responsible for providing training materials concerning the Welcome Wagon onboarding process to hiring managers.
  • Performs special projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in managing onboarding processes and projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to strategically review processes.
  • HR/Onboarding project management experience preferred.
