About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Mecklenburg County is responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition team to attract and hire top talent across the organization. This role involves strategic planning, managing a team of Talent Acquisition Consultants, and enhancing the candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The manager will engage with various department leaders to ensure alignment with business goals and utilize data analysis to inform hiring strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, prioritize, and assign work for a team of five Talent Acquisition Consultants.
  • Develop and implement hiring strategies and plans that meet candidate needs throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Enhance the candidate experience by identifying and mitigating factors that may adversely impact candidates.
  • Analyze relevant data and trends to provide insights and set plans to meet hiring goals.
  • Lead conversations across departments to address broad hiring issues and connect data to organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of professional level experience in Human Resources.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience is accepted.
