About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Loenbro, LLC is responsible for leading recruitment efforts in the industrial construction sector. This player-coach role involves developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and hire talented professionals while managing a team of recruitment specialists. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the construction industry, and a commitment to building diverse and high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition specialists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the construction industry, focusing on both active and passive candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create customized recruitment plans.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and industry networking events, to attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process, ensuring a broad and varied candidate pool.
  • Implement strategies to attract underrepresented groups within the construction industry.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and labor market dynamics to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Analyze hiring metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on recruitment progress and effectiveness.
  • Partner with HR and other departments to streamline onboarding processes and ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Engage with external partners, including recruitment agencies and educational institutions, to enhance talent pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successful recruitment strategies and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to recruitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
