About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Obsidian Solutions Group LLC is responsible for leading and managing a team of recruiters to enhance the candidate experience and improve recruiting processes. This role involves crafting hiring strategies aligned with the company's strategic objectives, focusing on inclusion and diversity, and utilizing data analytics to measure recruiting success. The manager will engage in full lifecycle recruiting, develop sourcing strategies, and collaborate with various stakeholders to meet the organization's talent needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and engage a team of Recruiters to build effective sourcing, assessment, and pipeline development plans.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition and Business Development team to review RFPs, SOWs, and PWSs to create qualification matrices.
  • Support proposal efforts with the BD/Capture/Proposal team and assist with contract transition and incumbent capture.
  • Articulate and present sourcing plans to senior leadership with deliverables and timelines.
  • Research market conditions and industry trends related to competitors.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment for long-term growth.
  • Ensure data integrity of the candidate management database and track sourcing activity.
  • Conduct extensive data mining of social media to identify candidate profiles.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to perform full lifecycle recruiting activities.
  • Source diverse candidates using various sourcing techniques and methods.
  • Evaluate and apply new sourcing methodologies to grow candidate pools.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to promote effective hiring practices.
  • Track and record recruiting activities in accordance with federal regulations.
  • Assist in managing the company's social media sites for talent management needs.
  • Leverage data analytics to maximize productivity and optimize recruiting results.
  • Collaborate with the security office to ensure candidate clearance validation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting for technical and operational positions in a tech and intel environment.
  • 3+ years of leading/managing a recruiting team of 3 or more in a government contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated sourcing experience with proven capabilities in Boolean search techniques and advanced recruiting tools.
  • Ability to develop, deliver, and execute on sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with forecasting to develop candidate pipelines.
  • Proven track record with sourcing technical skillsets such as software engineers, cyber, and IT positions.
  • Experience recruiting for a federal government contractor and cleared candidates.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing employees in a high volume and heavy req load environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of staffing tools such as applicant tracking systems and social media.
  • Strong internet mining experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
