The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage the design, implementation, and evaluation of talent acquisition strategies, initiatives, and programs, partnering closely with human resource (HR) and affiliate leaders. This role is pivotal in leading talent acquisition and executive recruitment efforts, serving as a consultant and trusted advisor to HR leaders. The manager will determine critical talent pipelines and collaborate with HR leaders to develop strategies that address current and future talent needs. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree. The position requires a minimum of 8 years of recent relevant experience in talent acquisition or a related field. The candidate should have a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and procedures pertaining to recruitment and employment, along with a broad understanding of HR functions and processes. Additionally, the candidate should be knowledgeable about labor market trends and issues that impact strategic talent management and acquisition. Skills in change management and process improvement are essential, as is the ability to effectively manage or lead change and transition. The role demands a strong personal and professional presence when interacting with executives, management leaders, and potential candidates. Strategic and analytical skills are crucial for formulating strategies and business plans for improvement and growth. The candidate should also demonstrate leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and engage their team effectively. This position offers hybrid flexibility, requiring regular onsite presence for meetings and various events primarily across the San Francisco Bay Area as well as the Sacramento region. The role is exempt and full-time, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
