About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Oak Hill is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding, and transfer processes within the organization. This role involves providing leadership and support to a team of Talent Acquisition Partners, developing strategies to attract candidates, and addressing recruitment-related challenges. The manager will work closely with senior staff and hiring managers to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Leads, supports, and drives the strategic direction for the talent acquisition team.
  • Manages and streamlines the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and candidate management.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department and meets regularly with direct reports.
  • Recruits, interviews, and hires candidates, managing the transfer process as needed.
  • Implements and evaluates agency policies and procedures on recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Facilitates talent acquisition meetings with senior management and records notes for these meetings.
  • Provides training on the hiring process, policies, and best practices to organizational leaders.
  • Tracks talent acquisition metrics and completes timely reports.
  • Networks and maintains relationships with industry contacts, colleges, and employment agencies to identify candidates.
  • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and builds strong relationships with leaders throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong communication skills, including advanced writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to recruiting.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management and groups.
