About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager for Sales Recruiting at UniFirst is responsible for driving strategic recruitment initiatives for the company's Sales Organization across the United States and Canada. This role combines recruitment expertise with mentorship and collaboration, significantly influencing the company's growth and success. The position emphasizes leadership excellence, recruitment innovation, and effective systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a high-performing recruitment team that embodies UniFirst's commitment to excellence.
  • Inspire and mentor the internal recruiting team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Oversee team dynamics, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all Sales Recruitment initiatives.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies and continuous process enhancements.
  • Manage special projects and initiatives related to sales recruiting as necessary.
  • Foster strong partnerships with Sales Leadership, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the effective use of the Application Tracking System (ATS) and additional hiring platforms.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to the C-Suite and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Leverage data analytics to assess and refine current hiring processes.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in full-cycle recruiting and/or sales experience.
  • 3-5+ years in a leadership capacity demonstrating a track record of driving results through mentorship and team development.
  • Strong command of Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo preferred) and job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with on-site presence 2-3 days per week.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 20%.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with and influencing senior leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and reporting skills.
