About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at JobsOhio is responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies to enhance the organization's talent portfolio. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to create customized plans that address the talent needs of various industries in Ohio. The manager will leverage data and best practices to optimize the candidate journey and ensure effective recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement talent acquisition strategies related to JobsOhio's initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of national sourcing activity and serve as a subject matter expert in recruiting and sourcing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors in the sourcing space.
  • Communicate national and statewide trends to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Assess customized Talent Acquisition Services for companies and determine appropriate tactics.
  • Develop tailored approaches for multiple level positions and skill sets.
  • Coordinate with the client-facing Project delivery team to ensure effective talent acquisition services are delivered.
  • Monitor performance of talent acquisition tactics and make recommendations for modifications.
  • Analyze aggregate talent acquisition outcomes and metrics to ensure process efficiencies and goal attainment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate talent acquisition or recruitment strategy experience.
  • Experience engaging with clients across varied industries or recruitment agency experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
  • Proficient in utilizing data to inform talent decisions and enjoy research and data organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current employment practices and diverse talent attraction methods.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and job boards.

  • Experience in destination marketing.
