About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) is responsible for innovating and driving recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent. This role involves managing the end-to-end talent acquisition function, developing an internal internship program, and ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to recruitment practices. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to mentor hiring managers and interns.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and own the end-to-end talent acquisition function.
  • Execute effective local and regional sourcing strategies to attract and hire diverse talent.
  • Continuously innovate recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Engage with community leaders and HR professionals to drive strategic recruiting initiatives.
  • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values in recruiting practices.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate cost-effective recruiting methods.
  • Mentor and coach hiring managers in interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Manage contracts and placement orders for temporary agency personnel.
  • Design and lead the development of an internal internship program.
  • Ensure a valuable learning experience for interns and support their professional development.
  • Lead HR and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in talent acquisition and full-cycle recruitment.
  • Proven background in developing innovative recruiting strategies focused on diversity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Active SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of laws impacting hiring and selection processes.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with coaching and supporting hiring managers in making informed hiring decisions.
  • Experience in developing metrics and tracking mechanisms for recruitment programs.
