About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Astro Pak Corporation is responsible for leading the full life cycle recruitment process, identifying and securing top talent to support the company's growth. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, focusing on creating a best-in-class recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. The manager will oversee a team of recruiters, develop innovative sourcing strategies, and enhance the employer brand to position Astro Pak as an employer of choice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle recruitment including posting, sourcing, prescreening, scheduling, background checks, references, offers, and onboarding.
  • Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, contractual, and intern personnel as needed.
  • Ensure hiring processes are completed within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Develop recruiting marketing strategies and define roles and responsibilities of the hiring team to ensure an effective recruitment lifecycle.
  • Implement creative sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified candidates specific to Astro Pak's needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline using various sourcing methods including social media, job boards, and networking events.
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
  • Oversee the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and streamline recruitment processes to improve efficiency.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to enhance Astro Pak's employer brand and represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruitment with supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant job experience.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other human resources technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Human Resources Certification (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
  • Familiarity with high-purity cleaning, aerospace, or related industries.
