About the position

The Pfister Hotel is seeking a dynamic and innovative Talent Acquisition Manager who will play a crucial role in connecting with candidates and enhancing their experience throughout the hiring process. This position is not only responsible for overseeing talent acquisition for The Pfister Hotel but also for Mason Street Grill and Wisconsin Hospitality & Linen Services. The Talent Acquisition Manager will ensure that the hotel and its associated restaurants are consistently staffed with exceptional hospitality professionals, thereby maintaining the high standards of service that The Pfister Hotel is known for. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be expected to source and select talent for various hospitality positions within the greater Milwaukee area, with a focus on reducing the overall time to fill these positions. The manager will pre-screen candidates, act as the primary contact for viable candidates, and coordinate interviews between hiring managers and qualified candidates. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for promoting active hospitality positions on social media and exploring new methods of advertisement and promotion to attract top talent. The successful candidate will also be tasked with identifying new sources of talent and maintaining a robust candidate pipeline. Building and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders will be essential, as will creating awareness of The Pfister Hotel and its associated business units as the premier hospitality employer brand in Milwaukee. The manager will track hires by source, monitoring the effectiveness of various recruitment channels and eliminating those that are less successful.

Responsibilities

  • Source and select talent for hospitality positions in the hotels within the greater Milwaukee area, while reducing overall time to fill.
  • Pre-screen and act as contact person for all viable hospitality candidates.
  • Set-up interviews for hiring managers with qualified candidates.
  • Post and promote active hospitality positions on social media, while experimenting with new methods of advertisement and promotion.
  • Seek out and identify new sources of talent successfully maintaining our candidate pipeline.
  • Effectively manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create awareness of The Pfister Hotel and other business units as the premier hospitality employer brand within Milwaukee.
  • Track and achieve hires by source, monitoring which are 'key sources' and eliminating sources that prove to be less successful.

Requirements

  • Four year college degree in related field
  • Prior experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, or Customer Service fields
  • Prior experience working with social media
  • Ability to develop relationships and establish trust and credibility
  • Outgoing, professional and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with high level of confidence
  • High degree of organization and self-motivation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel locally to attend job fairs and community events
  • Computer, applicant tracking system (Taleo) and candidate relationship management tools experience preferred
