About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Panasonic is responsible for leading and developing a strategic talent acquisition team to attract top talent for the company's emerging business in Kansas City. This role involves implementing effective hiring strategies, managing workforce analytics, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while promoting industry-leading hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a strategic talent acquisition team to deliver best-in-class results.
  • Work closely with leadership to scale and develop a hiring strategy and plan.
  • Implement tactical skills to source and hire talented and diverse candidates.
  • Establish supportive leadership skills to become a trusted people partner.
  • Develop and execute the company's sourcing strategy.
  • Advise and consult with key leaders to align business objectives with talent management.
  • Manage and refine a Candidate Experience Strategy to improve the application process.
  • Elevate and manage the company's Talent Acquisition Branding Strategy.
  • Utilize a Talent Pipeline to proactively engage talent for future business needs.
  • Oversee the job requisition process and applicant flow.
  • Implement metrics to measure the success of talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of consistent recruiting and hiring practices.
  • Track ongoing hiring needs and manage end-to-end recruitment functions.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team to meet hiring benchmarks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven work experience as a hands-on leader, or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field with 5+ years of HR experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing lifecycle recruiting processes.
  • Record of successfully hiring top talent in a rapidly growing start-up environment.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of US labor and immigration laws and best practices.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong talent assessment skills and proven experience in hiring top talent.
