About the position

The Talent Acquisition Operational Excellence Manager at TD Bank is responsible for leading and managing a governance and control team that oversees various functions within the talent acquisition process. This role focuses on ensuring operational excellence by implementing controls and processes, mitigating risks, and supporting the North American Talent Acquisition teams. The manager will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members while coordinating initiatives across multiple business areas to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a governance and control team overseeing diverse functions in talent acquisition.
• Ensure an integrated approach with other business governance and control areas.
• Support North American Talent Acquisition teams in mitigating risk and implementing controls.
• Provide people management leadership by hiring, setting goals, and managing employee performance.
• Present recommendations to senior management and executives.
• Coordinate and prioritize multiple initiatives and manage resource allocation.
• Establish effective relationships with stakeholders and business sponsors.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members and executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in management and operational excellence.
• Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures.
• Experience in financial services and budgeting.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
