About the position

The Talent Acquisition Operations Associate plays a vital role in the recruitment process at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. This hybrid position involves managing candidate data in the ATS (Greenhouse), overseeing offer letters, background checks, and assessment testing, while providing support to both candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Seamlessly move identified hires through the ATS system, including entering candidate information and generating offer letters.
  • Initiate and manage background checks and assessments for candidates.
  • Act as the centralized function for custom hires, including those with employment agreements or selected without TA involvement.
  • Become a subject matter expert on recruiting and hiring technology tools and processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and hiring managers during the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR Ops, HRBP's, and HRA's to facilitate onboarding of new custom hires.
  • Participate in team meetings, functions, and trainings as an active member of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Work on special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to Talent Acquisition and HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain legal and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or HR operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard professional software programs; ATS and/or HRIS/HCM software experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with people at all levels.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and self-directed, willing to research and find answers.
  • Team player focused on providing great customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS or similar recruiting software.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
