About the position

Planet Aid is seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to enhance workforce planning, employee development, and corporate recruitment efforts. This role is crucial in supporting strategic hiring processes, developing talent strategies, and improving organizational performance. The specialist will work closely with Operations Managers, HR, and leadership to assess workforce capabilities, identify skill gaps, and implement employee growth programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and revision of job descriptions, ensuring alignment with compensation structures.
• Assist in analyzing workforce trends and staffing needs to support business objectives.
• Develop succession plans and implement workforce development strategies.
• Design, organize, and oversee orientation and training programs to boost employee productivity and engagement.
• Collaborate with plant operations (e.g., transportation, warehousing) to improve hiring and retention processes.
• Regularly update and optimize training materials and procedures with industry best practices.
• Coordinate corporate recruitment, including job postings, application review, and interview scheduling.
• Support employee relations functions, helping to address and document workplace issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years in HR roles, including recruitment coordination, employee training, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Professional HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, including workforce planning and performance management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a passion for working in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Paylocity is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred.
