About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist to join our team in New York City. As a key member of the People team, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization by attracting and hiring top-tier talent, particularly for Product and Engineering roles. You'll also contribute to creating a world-class employee experience by supporting our People Operations initiatives and ensuring our office is a welcoming and productive space for everyone. This role provides an exciting opportunity to directly impact the growth and culture of our company while collaborating closely with leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-driven, and passionate about people and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for all open roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and managing candidates through the pipeline using Greenhouse.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Leverage creative sourcing techniques to build diverse talent pipelines.
  • Provide a seamless, white-glove candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics to optimize processes and improve outcomes.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records in Rippling.
  • Partner with the Head of People to ensure compliance with HR policies and best practices.
  • Assist in implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of People processes and programs.
  • Oversee office operations to create a productive and welcoming work environment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage office supplies and services.
  • Plan occasional onsite events and activities to foster team collaboration.
  • Serve as the Culture Champion, leading the Culture Committee to promote engagement, connectedness, and a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on Product and Engineering roles, owning the full funnel.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/PEO platforms such as Rippling and other systems, as well as applicant tracking systems (ATS) like Greenhouse.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and a data-driven approach to hiring.
  • Experience in HR generalist functions, including onboarding and employee engagement.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
