About the position

The Talent Acquisition Senior Manager - Diversity at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the talent acquisition process. This position involves strategizing and managing projects that align with BCG's DEI goals, collaborating with various stakeholders to foster an inclusive culture, and leveraging analytics to innovate recruitment practices that attract a diverse candidate pool.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage analytics and strategic capabilities to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve diversity, equity and inclusion at each step of the recruiting journey.
  • Innovate and evolve BCG's suite of programs and partnerships to build a comprehensive and effective strategy to strengthen BCG's approach to recruiting a diverse candidate pool.
  • Partner closely with other members of the Diversity Talent Acquisition and broader North American Talent Acquisition teams to translate a talent acquisition strategy and vision into action and impact.
  • Engage key stakeholders and senior leaders from BCG's People Team and diversity networks to help lead, drive and support the DE&I Talent Acquisition agenda.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects and work groups to drive BCG's DE&I and Talent aspirations.
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition marketing colleagues to develop creative ways to communicate BCG's distinctive employer value proposition to targeted diverse talent communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Talent Acquisition, DEI, strategy consulting, program management, or other people-related functions.
  • Deep analytical capabilities with an ability to translate quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable plans.
  • Functional expertise in Talent Acquisition, including a demonstrated interest in DE&I.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and lead change initiatives.
  • Strong sense of ownership and experience proactively taking initiative, collaboratively driving strategy, using good judgment to prioritize requests, and working with minimal direction.
  • Expert organizational and process management skills; Comfort managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing within a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Experience engaging and partnering with senior executives; Comfort engaging with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications, influence and persuasion.
  • Experience with DEI best practices and demonstrated cultural/identity adeptness.
  • Excellent judgment and professionalism, particularly when dealing with complex topics and sensitive personal and firm DEI data.
