About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist is responsible for driving the full spectrum of recruiting efforts for the New Jersey office, focusing on fulfilling the consulting staff needs. This role collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and implement the recruiting strategy, manage day-to-day operations, and suggest necessary changes to the recruiting structure and processes. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a complex organizational structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-4 years of previous recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required.
  • Prior professional services recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization.
  • Flexibility and some travel required, particularly around peak recruiting season.

  • Strong computer and database skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Support the office recruiting strategy development with RM, RP, and RDs.
  • Oversee office-specific recruiting efforts to meet annual Consultant and Associate hiring targets.
  • Develop candidate pipelines through sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Conduct decision-round interviews and manage offeree conversion.
  • Drive BCG-wide recruiting efforts at office-managed schools/programs, including annual plan and budget development.
  • Create and manage the office recruiting budget and commitments process.
  • Develop and maintain a recruiting calendar and utilize the recruiting database for correspondence and reports.
  • Act as the main contact for candidates, responding to inquiries and building relationships.
  • Schedule and execute office-specific events and coordinate interviews.
  • Liaise with HR for onboarding new hires and prepare necessary reports.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Senior Manager in planning welcome weekends and ensure communication around events.
  • Manage summer internship programs and lead continuous improvement efforts in office recruiting.
  • Work with other offices to improve recruiting efforts and manage short lead time recruiting for key positions.
